About Singapore

Reasons to visit Singapore
Some refer to her as the “little red dot”, but Singapore’s presence in the world today is larger than that moniker. In fact, Singapore is a bustling cosmopolitan city that offers a world-class living environment, with her landscape populated by high-rise buildings and gardens. One interesting facet you’ll discover about Singapore is a ubiquitous collage of cultures, where people of different ethnicities and beliefs coexist. Besides a vibrant multicultural experience, there’s more you can discover about Singapore.

1.

Be WOW by the World’s Biggest Trees
Come July, be the first visitors to visit state-of-the-art Gardens by the Bay, located in the heart of Marina Bay that will define Singapore as the world’s premier tropical garden. It’s a mega showcase, where visitors can experience and enjoy flora across the board from Mediterranean, Tropical Montane and temperate annual plants and flowering species.

Be WOW by the world’s biggest trees, ‘Supertrees’, ranging from 25 to 50 meters, made of steel structures with several functions; as unique, vertical tropical gardens; as the engine room for the conservatory environmental systems; as receptacles to collect rainwater, to provide shade, to be lit up at night and to house an exclusive bar or F&B outlet. Some of the supertrees will also be connected by aerial walkways.

Come feast your eyes on the unforgettable panorama view of Singapore’s skyline and waterfront.

Walk along the Helix Bridge, an architectural marvel
Linking Marina Bay to Marina Centre, the Helix Bridge at 289meter, is Singapore’s longest perdestrian linkway. Inspired by the yin and yang, the architecturally unique bridge is said to bring wealth, happiness and prosperity to Marina Bay.

The Helix Bridge is an engineering feat assembled with great precision. Its curved design is created by tow opposing spiral steel members, held together by connecting struts, symbolising ‘life and continuity’, ‘renewal’, ‘everlasting abundance’ and ‘growth’, and resembles the structure of DNA.
